Local Delivery Driver-WEEKEND SHIFT (Full Time) HOWARD CITY, MI
WEEKEND SHIFT Local delivery driver Friday-Sunday (14 hour shifts) home at the end of each shift. Full Time position.
Credentials - Experienced Class A CDL, clean driving record / background - medically qualified (49 CFR 391.41)
Pay - $25.00 hourly ($24.00 base plus $1.00 weekend premium). Pay rate review after 90 days. We also offer a driver safety bonus pay program.

Sow Unit Technicians (Full Time) ITHACA and REMUS MI
Sietsema Farms is looking for Sow Unit Technicians for their farrowing swine production divisions, High Lean Pork and Huron Pork. This job will provide 40-50 hours of work a week. Normal working hours are 7:00am-3:00pm during the weekdays. Also, will need to work every other weekend 4-5 hours per day.

Poultry (Animal) Scientist (Full Time) ALLENDALE, FREMONT and RAVENNA MI
Sietsema Farms is currently seeking applicants for a Poultry Scientist. Pay dependent on experience in poultry husbandry and turkey health observation practice and analysis.
Responsibilities: Feed, water and litter quality assurance, analysis and record-keeping, mortality inspection for flock health concerns and possible medically-related intervention measures, blood draws and analysis, vaccination of birds when appropriate, flock flow target measurement and analysis, environmental and animal safety compliance and regulation, biosecurity breach analysis and sanitation observation. We are looking for candidates with experience in flock management and poultry nutrition and health.
Requirements: Experience in the field of poultry husbandry and flock management and Bachelors degree in Animal Science or similar degree.

Animal Breeder-Swine (Full Time) REMUS and ITHACA MI
Sietsema Farms is currently seeking applicants for an Animal Breeder. Pay dependent on experience in swine husbandry, reproduction and pig health observation practice and analysis.
Responsibilities: general oversight of a sow herd and will be charged with examining the nutritional requirements of pregnant sows and providing guidance regarding care of the pregnant sows, breeding and artificial insemination, breeding and management practices, disease detection and prevention during pregnancy and birth, and analyzing the animals post-birth to determine proper care. We are looking for candidates with experience in sow and farrowing management, nutrition and health.
Requirements: Experience in the field of swine husbandry and reproduction management and Bachelors degree in Animal Science or similar degree.

Swine Farrowing Farm Manager (Full Time) REMUS MI
Sietsema Farms is currently seeking applicants for a Swine Farrowing Farm Manager. This role leads, trains, and works with a team to safely and efficiently oversee the welfare, care and day-to-day management of animals at the farm. The position insures good production through the implementation of standard operating procedures, attending to farm technology needs, maintenance of accurate records, promotion of the well-being of animals, and sound environmental stewardship. Tasks will sometimes need to be performed on nights, weekends, and holidays. We are seeking a highly motivated, hardworking individual to fill the position who is proficient and can direct all farm activities and employees. Position Summary: Oversee all aspects of sow care, maintain a clean environment, maintain production equipment, and troubleshoot technology and equipment in a barn environment.
Qualifications: Reliable work ethic, desire for work to include hands on interaction with swine and piglets, ability to work with technology, exemplary communication, organizational and problem solving skills, capability to do multiple tasks efficiently, physical ability to lift (50+ lbs. regularly), bend, walk, and stand throughout the day, prior experience in managing and directing team members preferred, farm experience preferred
Compensation: $22.00 to $27.00 hourly rate paid bi-weekly, based on experience (average of 85 hours per two-week pay period) Eligible after 13-weeks: Intermittent performance bonuses paid up to $5000 a year. Eligible after 90-days: Paid vacation, employer subsidized health insurance for employee and dependents, 401K retirement program, employer subsidized life insurance and other employee-funded insurance products available including dental and vision insurances.

Lawn Maintenance Technician (Full Time) REMUS MI
High Lean Pork is seeking candidates for a lawn/grounds maintenance position. In this role the candidate would be maintaining large areas of lawn around several farm locations. Competitive wages starting at $15.00/hour, negotiable based on experience. Feed Mill Manager (Full Time) HOWARD CITY MI
Sietsema Farms is looking for a Feed Mill Manager to oversee daily operations, including: pelleted feed manufacturing, production efficiency, ingredient acquisition and inventory, and safety compliance while utilizing technology/software for automation, inventory tracking, batching accuracy, and pellet quality. Key duties include managing personnel, optimizing production, maintaining equipment, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities include: • Production & Efficiency: Manage the batching and pelleting process using Comco Helm software to monitor mill automation systems. • Inventory Control: Utilize software to monitor ingredient inventories, manage bin levels, and order ingredients and supplies. • Quality Assurance: Ensure finished feed meets nutritional specs and food safety standards. • Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA, FDA, and EPA standards, maintaining a safe workplace and compliance records. • Equipment Maintenance: Schedule preventative maintenance and repairs for milling equipment to minimize downtime. • Logistics & Personnel: Coordinate raw material receiving, delivery scheduling, and train staff on operations and continued development. Contribute to a dedicated team dynamic, encouraging open communication and constructive feedback. • Grain Drying and Storage: Oversee new crop grain receiving and drying. Monitor and manage grain in storage to assure quality.
Required Skills and Experience include: • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, specifically with manufacturing systems like Comco Helm interface or similar automation and inventory software. • Experience: 5+ years of direct experience in a feed mill environment, with prior leadership experience. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field is preferred. • Communication: Strong leadership, analytical, mathematical and interpersonal skills.
Based on experience (average of 85 hours per two-week pay period) $75,000 to $90,000 salary
